A contender for one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We arrived into Savannah late at night, slept in the car, and then when we woke the first thing we noticed was the smell. The whole city has a sweet, sticky smell. Early nicknames for the town was "the Forest City" because of the abundance of Oak and Willow trees. Not only does all the vegetation perfume the city but they frame the amazing architecture with these soft drooping leaves.
