Bonneville Salt Flats, Utah

Bonneville is home to the famous speedway, where land speeed records are broken. But the area is also public land and completely open all the time. We arrived there early in the morning and proceded to drive around carelessly and at great speed (not really that great). Slowly on the horizon we saw a car heading towards us, shimmering in the building heat. As it got closer we noticed that it was a police car. The policeman got out of his enhanced cop car and warned us of the dangers of standing on the back of our vehicle while going around in circles at high-speed. We agreed and promissed to behave. The policemen got back into his and accelarated away at speed, tyres spinning along the salt and quite a bit of swerving and doughnuts made in the salt.
